Waqf (Arabic for endowment) is a special kind of philanthropic deed in perpetuity. It involves donating a fixed asset which can produce a financial return or provide a benefit.
The revenue or benefit generated then serves specific categories of beneficiaries. Muslims giving waqf typically donate a building, land or cash with no intention of reclaiming the value gained from them.
إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية ،أو علم ينتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له
When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).
[Sahih Muslim]

Our Projects

Khadijah Transit Home
Our aspiration is to establish Khadijah Transit Home at Plaza RAH Kg Baru Kuala Lumpur for families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment. We are currently already fundraising for a second condominium and we aim to purchase five units estimated at around RM2.5 million.
UPDATE 07/08/2023:
1st Unit Purchase - RM 475,000

Gerobok Rezeki
KIWF aims to bring together education and community through the supply of KASIH Khadijah dry food baskets valued at RM150 each for 1000 underprivileged students at 10 selected locations in Hulu Langat, Selangor and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. We aim to make Kasih Khadijah a platform for us to share the sustenance blessed upon us and to make our presence in the community one that is sympathetic, generous and charitable.

RekaRia Meta Makerspace
As we strive to align ourselves with the latest educational resources in the field of education, children from underprivileged communities are often left behind. This leads to an ever-growing disparity in accessing high-quality education between children from higher-income families and those from lower-income backgrounds. Keeping this in mind, the initiative for a Waqf RekaRia Makerspace was launched. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to bridging the gap between waqf and science, marking the establishment of Waqf RekaRia Makerspace as our very first waqf intellectual property asset, likely the first of its kind in Malaysia! RekaRia Makerspace is a Collaborative Play-based Learning Centre equipped with various fun and educational resources, including construction blocks, electronic materials, and robotic appliances. It aims to provide hands-on implementation of STEM concepts, fostering inquiry and exploration to find solutions to real-world problems. Through this space, children acquire crucial future-proof skill sets such as communication, critical thinking, creativity, risk-taking, teamwork, problem-solving, and more. The engaging, open-ended, play-based learning approach ignites children's interest, particularly in STEM subjects. KIWF aims to make the RekaRia Makerspace accessible to underprivileged children, offering them opportunities for learning and skill development within a high-quality educational environment. Join us in making this vision a reality because we firmly believe that no one should be left behind!
